About

Michael holds an MFA from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He is currently the Robert Hillestad Gallery Director in the Dept. of Textiles, Merchandising, and Fashion Design where he teaches CAD and Surface Design.

His art and films have been featured in over 50 venues nationwide. Recent awards include Best Animation at the Prince Georges Film Fest in D.C. and New Media Film Fest in L.A.. He has over $300K in grant activity supporting early career animators, costume designers, production professionals, and actors.
